A Little About Us........

Heather Smith bought her first rottie back in 1977, Ch. Janlynn's Countess Natasha CDX (tasha), and the love affair began............ In 1980 Tasha gave birth to her first litter which consisted of 7 boys.  All 7 recieved their Canadian championships, but that's not all...that litter produced Multi BIS Ch. Wathaman's Adventurous Griffin CD.  In 1984 Griffin became the FIRST rottweiler in Canadian Kennel Club history to ever be ranked in  the Canadian Top 10 (all breeds, conformation).  This feat would not be accomplished again by another rottie until the mid '90's.   This litter also produced Ch. Wathaman's Garth the Invader CDX  who was a top producing stud and is STILL found in many pedigree's throughout north america.  Heather has continued to successfully breed numerous champions and obedience title holders from that first litter 'til present day.  We generally have on litter (from each breed) per year.  Our dogs are pets FIRST.  They live in our homes with the kids, cats, fish and whatever else may wander in!  We will only sell to homes with the same beliefs. We strive to produce quality well rounded dogs that adhere to their specific breed standard.  We are very proud of the accomplishments that our dogs have received, but we must also not forget to mention all THE OUTSTANDING OWNERS that have allowed these dogs to reach their full potential.  We have had the oportunity to meet some amazing people throughout the years, and it gives us great pleasure to be able to provide them with such great companions.  We are so happy to call so many of them friends and honored that they return time and again when it's time to welcome another new addition to the family.
